Discovering the Advantages of Blogging

Well it has been over a year since I have posted on here! It wasn't until the past few months I realized how beneficial blogging can be to your business!

For anyone in a business this is a great tool to "brand" yourself on the internet, get picked up by search engines, and have somewhere to "vent" about life in general! :-) We ALL need that sometimes. I know I definitely do.

Im still in business with Scent-Sations and Mia Bella Candles and love it! At this time last year I had just started my home based business and was learning all there is about network marketing, retail sales and team building!

Wow! I have learned so much in the past year and am still learning everyday!

I worked several shows last Fall and during the Christmas season with the candles and did really well! I met alot of great people in my area that do shows also and now consider them friends. ;-) I plan on doing the Fall event scene again this year and am looking foward to it!

In the meantime, I now also have a team of 8 under me and enjoy watching the team grow! I have had a couple of team members come and go , but that's just part of this business! You have to keep building and building until you find those GEMS! Like a deck of cards, you have to keep turning the cards over until you find your ACES! These are the people who are motivated , willing to learn and have the drive to make their business a success!

I have also started another business, mainly for the convenience and discounts , but have found that this is another really easy business to work! I am now an AVON representative and love doing this also! This business has given me the opportunity to make new friends in my neighborhood and community! This also allows me to introduce the candle business, so each business benefits the other. I have only been with Avon since March but have sold over $2000 in product!

Doing Better.....

I just returned from my niece's wedding.. on the top of Lookout Mountain, on the Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama.. line! It was held in a quaint mountain top wedding chapel with 30-40 guests!
Im doing better at organizing my different networks.. Ive got to get some more done on that this weekend! Sometimes it gets a little overwhelming.. but I am learning so much from each one!! Wish me luck!!

You Only Have One Life To Live, So Live Your Dreams

It took half my life and a situation out of my control to finally push me out of that "comfort zone" I had gotten so used to! I think we all get settled into this "comfort zone", and for whatever reason we decide we are happy with things just the way they are. We give up , or push aside the dreams we once had and just live life day to day. No real excitement, no challenges, no dreams. We stop dreaming. I believe most things in our lives happen for a reason. Two months ago I was living that life in my little comfort zone and then suddenly it was pulled out from under me. For 2 months I went through hell , not knowing what I was going to do with my life now. I was forced to make some big decisions. I no longer had the job I had grown so comfortable with for almost 10 years, my children were growing up. (My youngest now 15) I had to decide what I was going to do with my life.. was I going to go back to work at a job that I didnt know if I was going to have year to year? Or was I going to finally say "its now or never "! Well I decided its now or never, you only live once and you might as well go for your dreams! No more worrying weather I was going to have a job year to year, at someone elses decision! No more living paycheck to paycheck! I searched the internet day and night for home based businesses. I had people call me, email me, send me their "decision packs" , and finally went with my instincts about a company whos founder was not out to make a "killing". He just wanted to share his secrets to his success on the internet with as many people as he could . I am now working with Nick Mark and Forex enterprises and have learned so much ! I am on the way to financial independence! I wont say its easy.. it has taken alot of my time.. but any successful business takes time to get going! I am using his approach of multiple streams of income and Ill tell you about that in the next post! This one is getting way too long!! Robin
